And we’re off!
Medellín, Colombia will be my home for the next two months, and I’m so so excited for this culture. I think growing up in the D.R.
has made my heart lean towards the latin american culture. Sure, I’m loud and proud of my Texas, but I will always run first to the fresh fruit vendors, sticky weather and the catchy beat of salsa music.
Our ministry opportunities here are a wide variety. A large chunk of it is kids, youth, and women’s ministry. My entire squad of 40 members have the privilege of being together in the same city the whole time, and I know God was behind that plan. The unity of our squad is so important, and jumping in together as a whole before we split up into teams for Vietnam will for sure stretch and strengthen us.
My heart is open and ready. May the Lord be glorified in all that we do, say, and think.
Adíos!

Welcome “home” to Latin America. Praying for your transition. Following closely for updates. 💕
So good to know youve arrived in Columbia! Praying for flexible attitudes for whatever comes your way & that each one of you makes much of Jesus’ Name as you interact with so many different folks.
Happy dancing!
God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ❤️ Eph. 1
Prayers for you and the team as the Holy Spirit leads you. ~ karen
